New for 2023! This year we are trying something different. You’ll be drafted to a pod (approximately 1⁄2 a team) instead of a full team. Everyone in a pod will be the same gender. Every week, each womens pod will be paired with a mens pod and will play proper 4/3 or 3/4 gender ratio games of mixed ultimate. All remaining mens pods will be paired with other mens pods and play mens/open games. All pairings and opponents will switch every week as evenly as possible.The pods format received excellent feedback from players about their experience when this was used elsewhere to help with the on-field gender ratio, so we’re trying it this year and hoping for similar results!
